Dr. Allison Novins, NDDr. Allison Novins, ND is a graduate of Bastyr University with a degree in Naturopathic Medicine. She is the owner of the Snohomish Naturopathic Clinic in Snohomish, WA. Her practice began primarily Women's Health with a focus on aging gracefully. She has over 10 years of experience treating with Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). Currently, Allison sees men, women and teens as a family practitioner, promoting the use of herbs and lifestyle changes for a variety of ailments. Common issues treated include hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, auto-immunt challenges, meno and andropause, dermatitis and food allergies. Allison teaches a series of Women's Health classes called "As We Age."

Dr. Michelle Torrance, ND, LAc, LMPDr. Michelle Torrance, ND, LAc, LMP, is a licensed physician and acupuncturist in Washington State and graduate of Bastyr University. She is a member of both the American and the Washington Associations of Naturopathic Physicians. She continued her post-graduate studies at Shuguang Hospital, Shanghai, China. Her undergraduate degrees came from University of the Pacific, California. Michelle welcomes patients who need a primary care physician or patients who have specific health and wellness concerns. Areas of interest include women's health, adolescence through menopause, family planning, allergies and sensitivities, thyroid dysfunction, digestive issues including reflux and skin conditions. Michelle currently offers IV therapy, Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and runs our HCG Weight Loss program.

Dr. Olivia Franks, ND, CTTOriginally from Toronto, Dr. Franks received her degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. She began practicing in Renton, Washington in 2008 under one of the founders of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and is fluent in the complex interactions of hormones and the endocrine system. She served as a consulting physician for medical doctors using 24 hour urine hormone testing to monitor bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. She co-authored the article “Estriol: Its Weakness Is Its Strength” published in August 2008 by Life Extension magazine and is mentioned in Suzanne Somers’ book, Knockout: Interviews with Doctors Who Are Curing Cancer. She is one of few physicians in the Northwest Region, trained in breast thermography and has been using this FDA approved screening tool to help women successfully prevent breast cancer. Dr. Franks offers chelation therapy to remove heavy metals and also offers detoxification classes. She has successfully helped people with a wide variety of health issues through the combination of proven natural therapies and identifying root causes to illness: from high blood pressure, menopause, menstrual disturbances, autoimmune issues, digestive problems, high cholesterol, chronic fatigue, prostate enlargement, Meniere’s disease, fibromyalgia, cancer prevention, low thyroid and other endocrine ailments to ear infections, headaches and seasonal allergies. Dr Franks is pleased to bring her skills to the local community.

Jonathan Dodds, LAcJonathan earned his Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. He completed further training in Diabetes and Chinese Herbology at the Chengdu University Hospital of TCM in the Sichuan Province of China. Jonathan has undergone extensive training and specializes in the areas of Orthopedic Sports Medicine and pain management. Jonathan is also a highly trained Herbalist and includes the use of Chinese Herbs in his treatments whenever possible.

Lori Bernethy, LMP, AestheticianWith over 20 years of experience as an aesthetician and massage therapist, including in several in a four diamond spa, and a strong interest in natural medicine, Lori is excited to develop the Medi-Spa at Snohomish Naturopathic Clinic. Lori believes that the health and wellness of the body is reflected in the beauty of the skin. With all four children grown, she enjoys organic cooking, gardening and, when possible, time on the golf course with her retired husband.

Linnea Evans, MSW, MALinnea, our Office Manager, received a Masters of Social Work and a Masters in International Development in 2002, and promptly began a career in healthcare as a Bilingual Spanish/English Counselor in a women's clinic. Linnea brings a background in management of family planning and women's healthcare clinics to our practice. She manages general operations, and also handles referrals and medical records requests. She teaches part time in the Medical Assisting program at Everett Community College, and in her spare time, works in her garden to raise organic edible and medicinal plants, and two hives of honey bees.

Leisha BrownLeisha, our Medical Assistant, enjoys motivating individuals toward adapting healthy living into their everyday lifestyles. She has over 10 years experience in the health and wellness field and comes to us with a working background in fitness, nutrition, aromatherapy and maternity. Leisha works closely with Dr. Novins and Dr. Torrance, assists with the SNC weight loss program, participates in patient care and provides delightful vitamin b cocktail and lipotropic injections. She enjoys the outdoors with her husband, watching her son play sports and hanging out with her two Boston Terriers, Olive and Otis. |

Kristin MaloneKristin, our Front Office Coordinator, has a background in real estate, primarily in title and escrow. This experience afforded her priceless knowledge and skills that have transferred to this clinic. Kristin has a passion for natural healing and she provides our patients with exceptional customer service. In her spare time, she spends time at home with her family and enjoys the beautiful outdoors with her Boxer and Doberman. |
