SNC is excited to offer telemedicine! This allows you to see your doctor from the comfort and safety of your own home.
How does it work?
You can use any smart device or computer with a camera and microphone. You will be provided a link before your appointment time. A few minutes before your appointment you will click on the link and that will add you to your doctors virtual waiting room. At your appointment time, you'll see your doctor come on and your appointment will begin. See more step-by-step directions below...
Is it privacy compliant?
Yes, the program we use is called Doxy.Me. It was developed specifically for doctors doing telemedicine and is 100% HIPAA and privacy compliant. For another level of safety, your doctor will ask you to show your I.D. to confirm who are before beginning the appointment and discussing your medical information.
Can I still use my insurance?
Yes! Telemedicine is recognized by insurance companies and will be billed as if you were in the clinic in person.
Is there anything I need to do before my appointment?
There is a Telemedicine Consent Form that you will need to sign PRIOR to your appointment. This will be sent to you in an encrypted email that you can e-sign right on our phone and then it will be automatically sent back to us with your signature.
How will I pay my co-pay or get supplements?
Following your appointment, our receptionist will collect your check-out information from the doctor and then give you a call for your co-pay or appointment fee, to schedule a blood draw if needed and make your next appointment. Our receptionist will also go over any supplements that were recommended by your doctor, and can either take payment for those or discuss online ordering instead. We will be able to ship your supplements to you or schedule a pick up time that works best for you.
